Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Capital Hunt platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Dolta Ltd (“Capital Hunt”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), a company registered in England and Wales. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, making a payment, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case “you” refers to that entity.

2. Service Description

Capital Hunt is an investor matching and fundraising support platform that helps startup founders connect with relevant investors. Our Service includes:

• AI-powered matching between founders and investors based on sector, stage, geography, and investment thesis
• Facilitation of warm introductions and pitch call scheduling
• Pitch deck review and optimisation tools
• Access to our investor database containing over 3 million profiles
• Fundraising CRM and pipeline management tools
• Email templates and outreach sequence builders
• Dedicated campaign support from our team

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep this information up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one active campaign account at a time.

4. Payment Terms

The following payment terms apply to the Capital Hunt Campaign:

• Campaign Fee: The Capital Hunt Campaign costs £500 for a 3-month period. This is a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription.
• Add-on Modules: Enterprise data modules are billed monthly and can be added or removed at any time during your campaign.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details on our servers.
• 20 Pitch Call Guarantee: We guarantee a minimum of 20 pitch calls with matched investors within your 3-month campaign period. If we fail to deliver 20 pitch calls within 90 days of your campaign start date, you are entitled to a full refund of your campaign fee (£500). This guarantee does not apply to add-on module fees.
• Refund Conditions: To qualify for the guarantee refund, you must have provided a complete profile, a pitch deck, and responded to investor match notifications within 48 hours. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the campaign end date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your campaign at any time. If you cancel within 30 days of purchase and no pitch calls have been delivered, you will receive a full refund. After 30 days or after pitch calls have been delivered, no refund is available (unless the guarantee is triggered at the end of the campaign).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about your company or fundraising activity
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our platform using automated tools
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious code
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit access to the Service without our written consent
• Harass, abuse, or harm investors, other users, or our staff

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and underlying technology, is owned by Dolta Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written consent.

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including pitch decks, company descriptions, and other materials. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and share your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., sharing your pitch deck with approved investors).

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of investor data in our database
• The outcome of any investor meetings or fundraising activities facilitated through the Service
• That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

Capital Hunt does not provide investment advice, financial advice, or legal advice. We are a technology platform that facilitates introductions between founders and investors. The decision to invest or accept investment is solely between the parties involved.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dolta Ltd and its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dolta Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Service.
